Villanueva de Alcardete, Castile-La Mancha, October 8, 2024 – The wine cooperative of Villanueva de Alcardete, Bodegas Alcardet, with more than 50 years of history, has been recognized with the prestigious Titans of Finance Award 2024 de Ecofin in the category of SustainabilityThe award, which recognises the winery's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the wine industry, was presented yesterday at the 18th gala of The Night of Finance, Organized by the Ecofin Forum, an economic and financial innovation group that works with companies and administrations to promote new businesses in Spain.
The Ecofin Forum awards each year recognise people, companies and institutions that stand out for their role in society and the economy and that inspire others to follow their path of success and improvement. Specifically, the Titans of Finance awards recognise companies and projects that stand out for their capacity to innovate and set an example for companies seeking their place in increasingly competitive markets.
This recognition consolidates Bodegas Alcardet's leadership in responsible practices and its pioneering approach to the recovery of native varieties through the acclaimed "Vinos Cueva". These wines, which represent a return to the roots through traditional cultivation and organic production, are the winery's flagship in its commitment to caring for the environment and improving the final product.
